In 2014 I received a Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity grant. This grant allowed for me to choose a project that included exploration and reflection that would result in renewed energy, enthusiasm and creativity that could be brought back to the classroom.

With this grant, I chose to create a pinhole camera, but not just a simple pinhole camera, but a camera that was made from an 11 foot box truck. Images captured are approximately 4 foot by 7 foot and exposure time is 10 minutes. Images that you see here remain inverted (black is white, white is black) just like they are captured.
